How Inspired Intentions collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated August 2026.
Who we are
Inspired Intentions is a human performance consultancy operating in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at hayley@inspiredintentions.co.uk or by post at Bexhill, East Sussex, United Kingdom.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us directly, such as your name, email address and organisation, when you email us, use the contact form on this site, or book a call. Contact form messages are received and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider, and forwarded to us by email.
- Booking information processed through Calendly when you book a discovery call, including the time you select and anything you write in the booking form.
- Responses to the Drift Index diagnostic at thedriftindex.com. The diagnostic is anonymous by design. Answers are not linked to a name or an email address and no individual can be identified from them. It is covered by the privacy notice published on that site.
- Technical information collected automatically by our hosting provider, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries and arrange calls. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, namely responding to someone who has contacted us.
- To deliver coaching, programmes and speaking engagements you or your organisation have commissioned. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To send occasional updates, only where you have asked to receive them. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
Coaching confidentiality
Anything discussed in a coaching session is treated as confidential and is not shared with your employer or anyone else, except where we are required to by law or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety. Where an organisation commissions coaching, reporting back is limited to attendance and themes at an aggregate level, never individual content.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third party services to run the business, and they process data on our behalf: Netlify, which hosts this website; GoDaddy, which manages our domain; Calendly, which handles call bookings; Microsoft, which provides our email; and Supabase, which stores anonymous Drift Index responses. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months from our last contact, then deleted. Client records, including contracts and invoices, are kept for six years after the end of the engagement, which is the period HMRC requires. We do not keep written coaching notes. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent, plus a short period afterwards so we can evidence that you asked to be removed.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email hayley@inspiredintentions.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no marketing, advertising or analytics cookies, and therefore shows no cookie banner. Calendly and the Drift Index set their own cookies when you use them, and those are covered by their own notices.
